• What does vitamin E do for your skin?

• What is gamma tocopherol, and why is it in Gamma E?
  Vitamin E is a family of compounds. Most supplements contain alpha tocopherol only, while gamma tocopherol is the main form of vitamin E in everyday foods such as nuts, seeds and plant oils. Studies suggest gamma tocopherol has antioxidant activity that complements alpha tocopherol, so Gamma E includes 180mg of it per serving.*
• Is this a mixed tocopherols product?
  Gamma E contains alpha tocopherol (as d-alpha tocopherol acid succinate) plus 180mg of gamma tocopherol per serving, as shown on the Supplement Facts label. It is not a full-spectrum mixed tocopherols formula, and we prefer to be clear about exactly what is in the bottle.
• Is vitamin E safe to take daily?
  Vitamin E is generally well tolerated at supplement amounts below the 1,000mg daily upper limit. Talk to your doctor before use if you take blood-thinning medication, have surgery planned, are pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition.
• Can I take Gamma E with blood thinners?
  Vitamin E may add to the effect of blood-thinning medications such as warfarin. If you take any anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication, speak with your doctor before taking Gamma E.

  Take 2 capsules daily with a meal. Vitamin E is fat-soluble, so it is best absorbed with food that contains some healthy fat.

  Yes. The capsules are made from plant-based methylcellulose, with rice powder and vegetable stearate. There is no gluten, wheat, milk, lactose, silicon dioxide, artificial color, sweetener or preservative.
